A Next Generation Leader’s Thoughts
May 31, 2012 in Agency News, Events
I was recently recognized as a Next Generation Leader by the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), the leading cable industry organization focused on diversity communications. This recognition is largely a result of our successful work with our strategic client and partner Comcast Corporation over the years and is an affirmation of our diversity vision in the industry. Thank you to everyone who has made this possible.
It sure feels good to be recognized for our diversity vision–it took a lot of perseverance and hard work. And an eternal belief in ourselves. Today, Améredia continues to create multicultural growth strategies targeted toward various diverse groups–big and small. We go beyond inclusion to total inclusion.
This would not be at all possible with people who have been supporting this vision from day one so allow me to quote from my speech given at the NAMIC Annual Awards Breakfast on May 23 in Boston:
“I’m a believer and I believe I’m here today because of Gods’s grace, and because of the support of people who in turn believed in me. My wife. My family. My team. Our partners. And the communities that we serve. Thank you all. We are so proud to have Comcast as our strategic partner. Our shared visions remain aligned toward diversity and multicultural growth. Thank you, Team Comcast!”

Thank you NAMIC and congratulations all the winners. You have truly made a mark in your careers and I wish you all the success.
A belief in diversity is a belief in future. I encourage all of you to give another thought, another look, another chance, to diversity in all its aspects and how it can make a positive difference in your lives.
